Terms of Service

Welcome to Couple Sathi. By creating an account or using any part of the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

Couple Sathi is operated under Couple Sathi Shop, India. These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Couple Sathi. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts found to belong to minors.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information during registration.
• One person may not create multiple accounts to exploit free-tier limits.
• You must notify us immediately at support@couplesathi.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to harass, threaten, or harm any person.
• Upload, transmit, or share content that is illegal, defamatory, sexually explicit, or harmful.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the platform.
• Use automated tools to access or interact with the service.
• Impersonate another person or create fake couple links.

4. Subscriptions and payments

• Paid plans (Flame, Bonfire, Forever) are billed monthly or yearly as selected. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. By subscribing, you also agree to Razorpay's terms.
• Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time from your Profile page before the next billing date.
• We do not offer refunds on subscription fees unless required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 7 days at billing@couplesathi.com.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

5. Shop orders

• Physical products are sold and shipped by Couple Sathi Shop. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary.
• Return and refund requests for physical products must be initiated within 7 days of delivery. Contact support@couplesathi.com.
• We are not responsible for delays caused by courier partners or circumstances beyond our control.

6. User-generated content

Love letters, mood check-ins, QOTD answers, and chat messages ("Content") shared within the app are private between you and your partner. By submitting Content, you grant us a limited licence to store and transmit it solely for the purpose of providing the service. We do not claim ownership of your Content.

7. Couple linking

Couple Sathi allows two users to link their accounts. By linking, both users consent to sharing their mood, letters, and activity data with each other within the app. You may unlink at any time. We are not responsible for any disputes arising between linked users.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from your Profile page. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid subscription fees.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Couple Sathi is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, absence of errors, or that the service will meet your specific expectations. Relationship outcomes depend entirely on the users — we make no representation about relationship improvement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Couple Sathi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or ₹500, whichever is greater.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India. We encourage resolving disputes amicably by contacting us first.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify you via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
